CC Carter Music
CC Carter original music, often heard in the greater Tampa Bay area on WMNF.org & WSLR.org, includes wonderfully romantic, poignant love songs, and his latest single "Big Oil, Big Coal" (aka "I Know You Know") written to the conscience (should there be one) of big oil and coal companies. Folk rock ballad "When Johnnie Came Marching Home" addresses the detrimental effect of endless war on all except the Military Industrial Complex. CC's "Letter from Iraq" originally heard in YouTube video "Troops are Human" received over 12,000 hits until removed possibly due to the nature of its political content (imagine troops as human?).
CC recently opened for WMNF's annual heatwave, and may be seen performing at benefits, bars, barbeque joints, beaches & the occasional street corner, private party. He co-wrote & performed with Culture of Fear politically charged songs & the popular rocking love-gone-wrong anthem "Mercy." Purchase his music here (Songs tab) and at CDBaby.com.
